Bug Report Thread
Use this thread to report any bugs with IHC. Please mention your operating system, your browser and a description of the problem you encountered. Post screenshots if you can or if applicable. If you're complaining about something in IE6, I'm afraid your complaint will fall on deaf ears. Get a real browser.
This is something that I only noticed recently... I think it's something with the inline IRC chat client, because the IRC chat works fine if used through an external IRC app. Noted and logged.
we're working on implementing a new onsite irc chat room, but if that doesn't work, i'll just put the above info that tom posted on the irc chat page.
Get yourself a decent desktop irc client and point it at irc://irc.freenode.net/#iheartchaos - Web clients suck.

yeah, it's funny you mentioned that, because i was just going to do that...just that when i am usually at work, I was trying to use the built in web chat....

Been trying to respond to the Horror Chick wallpaper thread but it won't allow me. In fact, it won't allow me to view the wallpaper forum at all. Says access denied.

IHC starts OK, but when I click on a subject, the page gets super-simplified, like I'm looking at a draft version.
Anybody else have that problem?
we were working on implementing some hardcore caching options and database streamlining last night to improve the overall site speed, so you may just be temporarily pulling up article pages without the style sheet. Give it a little while and everything will catch up, hopefully.
The problem is only with 7.
With Vista and XP, everything works fine.
Maybe 7 has some switch somewhere I need to flick.
I'll just avoid using 7 with I Heart, my daily stop for tits and tech and all around weirdness.

Just wondering... has anyone had trouble changing their avatar lately? Just wondering how many migiht have encountered this problem.
Had one helluva time trying to change it in October.
Uploaded the wrong photo, then couldn't replace it.
Damn near drove me nuts, but that gave my wife a bit of time off.

Is the IRC chat up and running and is anyone else using it? I've tried a number of times, but it's probably a PEBKAC issue...just wanted to see if anyone else has successfully been able to use it?
